This adaptor allows you to fit a standard 1/2 inch x 20 TPI female threaded chuck onto an SDS plus drill, giving you the flexibility to use a much wider range of drill bits and accessories that are not normally compatible with SDS shanks. Please note that this adaptor is designed for rotary drilling only and must not be used with hammer action, as this could damage the adaptor and the workpiece.
