Hoya 49MM PRO ND EX 1000

The new Hoya PRO ND EX 1000 filter is designed to give photographers and videographers precise control over exposure, even in the brightest conditions. With a 10-stop light reduction, this filter allows you to use wide apertures and slow shutter speeds in full daylight, creating silky smooth water effects, dramatic motion blur, and beautifully shallow depth of field. Built for both still photography and HDSLR video work, it replaces the original PRO ND range with improved optical performance and a slimmer, more robust construction.

- 10-stop neutral density filter (ND1000) for long exposures and wide apertures in bright light

- Ultra-slim aluminium frame minimises vignetting on wide-angle lenses

- High-quality optical glass with Hoya’s advanced multi-coating to reduce flare and ghosting

- Anti-reflective and water-repellent coatings for easy cleaning and consistent results

- Accurate colour neutrality – no unwanted colour cast across the entire exposure range

- Ideal for landscape, architectural, and creative portrait photography, as well as video work requiring slower shutter speeds

- Direct replacement for the original PRO ND range, offering enhanced durability and light control

An essential tool for any photographer or videographer wanting to master light, the Hoya PRO ND EX 1000 delivers reliable, high-performance light management in a compact, long-lasting design.
