Hoya 62MM STARSCAPE

The HOYA Starscape 62mm filter is designed to restore natural colour balance and contrast to your night-time and astrophotography by selectively reducing the yellow and greenish light pollution emitted by streetlights and urban areas. This allows you to capture clearer, more vivid images of the Milky Way, star trails, and other celestial scenes without the muddy, washed-out skies that plague city-based photographers. The filter effectively increases the visibility of faint deep-sky objects while maintaining true star colours, making it an essential tool for both amateur and experienced astrophotographers.

- Special optical glass for high-quality light-pollution reduction

- Selectively filters yellow and green wavelengths common in sodium and mercury vapour lighting

- Improves contrast and detail in night sky images

- Maintains natural colour balance for stars and galaxies

- Thin, lightweight frame minimises vignetting on wide-angle lenses

- Suitable for use on digital and film cameras with 62mm filter threads

- Multi-coated to reduce reflections and flare

Whether you are shooting from the suburbs or a city rooftop, the HOYA Starscape filter will help you reveal the true beauty of the night sky.
