HOYA PROND32 GRAD Graduated Neutral Density Camera Filter 8.2 cm

This graduated neutral density filter from Hoya is the perfect tool for capturing balanced exposures in high-contrast scenes. Whether you are shooting landscapes with bright skies and dark foregrounds, or seascapes where the horizon line separates bright water from shadowed rocks, the PROND32 GRAD allows you to hold detail in both highlights and shadows. The blend-type graduation creates a smooth transition from dark to clear, so you can subtly reduce the brightness of the upper portion of the frame without introducing hard lines or unnatural banding. Made from high-quality optical glass, it maintains sharpness and colour fidelity while delivering a consistent 5-stop reduction (ND32) across the graduated zone.

Key features include:

- 5-stop (ND32) graduated density, ideal for balancing bright skies with darker land or water

- Blender-type round design with a seamless gradient – no hard edge, perfect for irregular horizons

- 8.2 cm diameter, compatible with a wide range of standard lenses

- Premium optical glass construction with multi-coating to minimise flare, ghosting, and reflections

- Precision-ground edges for secure installation in standard filter holders or direct lens attachment via stepping rings

- Thin profile to avoid vignetting, even on wide-angle lenses

- Manufactured to Hoya’s stringent quality standards for consistent neutral colour rendition

Add this versatile filter to your kit and take full creative control of exposure in challenging lighting conditions.
