Marples M750 Splitproof Bevel Edge Wood Chisel 16mm

The IRWIN Marples M750 Splitproof Pro Bevel Edge Chisel 16mm (5/8in) is a practical mid-size option designed to excel in general joinery and the precise cleaning of mortises. Its key benefit is the patented splitproof tang construction that permanently locks the blade into the handle, eliminating any risk of the handle splitting under heavy mallet strikes. This chisel offers exceptional durability and control, making it a reliable choice for both professional woodworkers and serious DIY enthusiasts.

- Patented splitproof tang design ensures the blade and handle remain securely locked together, even under repeated heavy use

- Blade made from high carbon steel, hardened and tempered for long-lasting edge retention and easy resharpening

- Precision-ground bevel edge allows for fine paring work and access into tight corners

- Contoured polypropylene handle provides a comfortable, non-slip grip for extended periods of work

- Impact-resistant handle is tough enough to withstand mallet blows without cracking

- 16mm (5/8in) width is ideal for general joinery tasks, including mortising and tenon work

- Supplied with a protective blade cap for safe storage

Combining legendary Marples craftsmanship with modern splitproof technology, this chisel delivers consistent performance and lasting reliability in the workshop.
