Maxxis Shorty Gen 2 Tyre - 27.5 Inch 120TPI Folding 3C Maxx Grip DD / TR

Developed from years of on-track data and direct feedback from World Cup Downhill and Enduro World Series athletes, the Maxxis Shorty Gen 2 delivers exceptional mud-shedding performance and aggressive cornering confidence in the sloppiest conditions. Its revised tread pattern with wider-spaced, taller knobs ensures relentless forward drive when the trail turns to soup, making it the go-to choice for riders who refuse to let wet weather stop their ride.

Key features:

- 27.5 x 2.40 WT casing optimised for modern wide rims, improving stability and traction at low pressures

- 120 TPI folding bead construction reduces weight and makes installation tool-free, ideal for tubeless setups

- 3C Maxx Grip triple-compound rubber provides the highest level of wet- and loose-surface grip without sacrificing durability

- Dual Ply (DD) casing adds serious puncture and pinch-flat resistance for aggressive trail and downhill use

- Tubeless Ready (TR) design allows for easy tubeless conversion, reducing flats and improving ride quality

- Directional tread with large, ramped centre knobs and deep side knobs for confident braking and steering in deep mud

Whether you're racing the clock or just surviving a sloppy day on the hill, the Shorty Gen 2 gives you the traction to push harder when others back off.
