Hoya STARSCAPE Light Reducer Camera Filter 67 mm

The Hoya STARSCAPE filter is designed exclusively for night scape photography, providing a highly effective way to combat light pollution from artificial city lights. By selectively blocking the dominant wavelengths emitted by sodium and mercury vapour lamps, this filter dramatically reduces the orange and green colour casts that plague urban night shots. The result is cleaner, more natural-looking skies with improved contrast and truer star colours, allowing you to capture breathtaking astrophotography and cityscapes straight out of camera.

Key features:

- Developed specifically for night scape and astrophotography to reduce urban light pollution

- Cuts orange and green casts from common street lighting, restoring natural star tones

- Premium optical glass with sophisticated multi-coating for low reflection and high light transmission

- 67 mm thread size fits a wide range of lenses; compatible with step-up rings for larger diameters

- Slim, lightweight aluminium frame minimises the risk of vignetting on wide-angle lenses

- Simple to mount and clean; supplied with a protective storage case

Whether you are a seasoned astrophotographer or a keen amateur, this filter is an invaluable addition to your kit for capturing the night sky unspoiled by city glow.
