Hoya 77mm STARSCAPE

This light-pollution filter is designed specifically for astrophotographers who want to capture stunning images of the night sky even when shooting from urban or suburban locations. By selectively filtering out the yellow and greenish wavelengths emitted by common street lighting, the Hoya STARSCAPE dramatically improves contrast and restores the natural colour balance of stars and nebulae, allowing you to achieve professional-quality results without travelling to a dark-sky site.

- Special optical glass developed by Hoya for superior light transmission and durability

- Selectively reduces yellow and greenish light pollution from high-pressure sodium and mercury vapour lamps

- Maintains natural colour balance, enhancing deep-sky objects like emission nebulae and star clusters

- 77mm thread size fits a wide range of camera lenses and telescopes

- Multi-coated to minimise ghosting and flare for crisp, clear images

- Ideal for both digital and film cameras used in astrophotography

Whether you are capturing the Milky Way or a bright nebula, this filter is an essential tool for the serious sky watcher.
